RTTS: How not to get traded...

So every year I start out playing for the Rangers minor leagues and every year I end up getting traded before I make the MLB. I got traded to the Cardinals last year and really enjoyed it but by the time I was a free agent and signed with the Rangers I was pretty burnt out.

What is the secret to not get traded in RTTS?

This year I chase center field because the Rangers are not deep there. Will that help me or will I get traded anyway most likely?

Is there anyway to avoid it with multiple saves? Can you go to a previous save and the trade possibly not happen?

I tried this a few years ago and it did not work. Do I need to go back a few saves or just back one now?

I created two saves and just went forward since I was getting traded to the dbacks who I don't mind just like playing with Hamilton trout and Pujols

If there's a team you really want to play for you might as well just get drafted and play through your early years till you can get to FA.

I have found that every time I actually picked a team I get traded, yet when I get drafted I usually can't escape them about 70% of the time.

All this is coming from previous years now, because I made to RTTS this year a SS and a Chipper jr. 3B and both times got drafted by the Angels and I'm not into that kind of domination LOL.

You could just turn off auto save. However, some trade decisions are made a few days in advance, so you are better off keeping 4 different saves and rolling back 3-4 days.

Every time I have been traded I quit and reload and I don't get traded not sure why it doesn't work for other people the auto save is after the game is played and the trade always comes before the next game.

I haven't played RTTS yet, but if it's like last year, you can leave auto save on it doesn't matter. Play your game, and when you get back to the calendar just save it on that day to be sure, BEFORE YOU ADVANCE TO THE NEXT DAY.

After you save it, advance. If you get traded, reload your save and you should still be on the previous day with the only options being box score, and advance, right?

From there, go to options and turn injuries to manual. Go to the DL, click over with R2 (I think, if I remeber correctly) scroll down the list, find your RTTS guy and give him an injury. Advance past that day and you won't be traded. Go back, un-injure him, etc.

I usually play as a pitcher, so it's less time consuming since I don't play every day. But it can be a nightmare during July, right before the deadline.
