How often do you guys play the Minor League games?

Assuming you have OSFM rosters and everything? Does anyone play minor league games for rehab assignments, practice games, just to play them, or to use the AAA or AA team as your primary reason to play franchise? If so has anyone played the playoffs in minor leagues and how was the atmosphere?

I never have.. i may try to do some more minor league games this year tho. i do like the smaller ballparks and atmosphere it brings also.

Only time I ever play minor league games is RTTS when my guy is in it.

Never. It's too much of a hassle in the first place to get as many games played in the majors in my franchise, that I never play the minors.

I do keep track of the minors and the games, and how the players are doing so I can consider who to bring up and bring down, but as for playing the game, I don't.

I keep an eye on the minors as I play and if I see a guy getting hot I will play a game. That's how I detect calling a guy up sometimes.

In general I don't really play those games. Sometimes it is nice to change up the atmosphere with the smaller parks but usually most of my time in the minors is spent in RTTS.

I probably play a handful of AAA and AA games a season. I like to play when my top SP are starting to get a feel for them

This year I will be the Pirates, so I will probably play with Gerrit Cole and Jameson Taillon a few starts and that will be the extent of it.

I'll probably play opening day for AAA since I live in Austin and i've actually been to the Round Rock Express stadium, plus I plan on starting Profar & Olt in AAA, not a bad combo...

I played a whole season last year with the AAA Tucson Padres with no roster control. Pretty fun and different. Sucked when a guy got hurt at the MLB level and they took my players

I'll probably play some throughout each season to use Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley Jr., and Matt Barnes, I plan on bringing up all three possibly before the end of the 2013 season.

I play in RTTS but in the past I would play a few games if I had a really exiting pitcher in the farm system that I wanted to see if he was ready soon.

Also in the past, and with the new development system I'm guessing will happen again this year, I would build teams through the farm and trades (usually trading for good farm talent) and have everyone ready to come up within 2-3 years of each other. Right before I would start calling guys up, I would get all of my guys on the AAA roster (even if they were still working on AA) and play a series or two as my future team.

It was cool playing as them in the minors, finding out tendencies of certain guys and then a couple years later playing with pretty much that same roster as we were making a push for the post-season!

I'm really excited for this new development/scouting system!

Probably more than I play MLB games, the hit variety is amazing since guys have lower ratings.
