RTTS or Franchise
Every year I want to do both modes but always seem to get wrapped up in RTTS and my franchise never gets off the ground. Anyone out there have any suggestions on how to keep both of them going strong all season long?Tags: None -

Re: RTTS or Franchise
Personally I do both, with my Franchise normally being with the Red Sox.
For me I can get really frustrated in RttS (no matter how much I like it) especially if I am in a slump. I normally do not play defense since there really was no point up until the addition of the manual fielding option for this year, so I would do nothing but sim until my next at bat.
If I get tired of hitting, I will normally make a starting pitcher then a closer for fun. But often times I grow tired of the same batting stance so I will either change it or begin my Franchise.
I normally do Franchise if I want to play a couple longs games just to get my mind off my horrible batting at the time haha. I usually pitch the first inning, then hit 5-7 innings, unless I am down the whole game, and usually bring in the closer to finish the games I play. I think its pretty fun to do that, and play a few big series a season, maybe around 20-30 games a season at most.
What I enjoy the most is trading away big players if they underperform and try to find a more costly way of winning ballgames. In 2012 I signed Manny Ramirez and Zach Duke and both were pretty consistent for the Sox."What is one of your favorite hobbies?
