Narrowing down the pitch stutter issue

Thought it might be useful to try to narrow down the pitch stutter issue by answering the following questions:

1. which ps3 model you are using.

2. hard copy or digital download

3. 5gb or 10 gb download

4. Are you experiencing the stutter lag.

5. Connected to psn and or online servers

6. Batter camera<o></o


I have an early model 40 gb ps3. Model number chc-hg01

Hard copy of the game with a 10gb install

Always connected to the psn, not yet tried online servers

I use default catcher cam for batting

and I am not experiencing the stutter lag.

4. I am indeed, it seems the worst in RTTS and improved slightly after I disconnected from PSN.

Pretty much at least once per AB in RTTS. I even get it quite a bit when I'm fielding. (When the pitcher is dealing)

1. Fatty PS3 from original release date (Nov. 2006) with a custom 120GB HD.

4. I've had the pitch stutter twice in RTTS. I'm currently at the All Star break, so that's around 350 at bats? Not too bad, but I still rather not have it happen at all.

5. Connected to PSN. Never setup the media server on the PS3.

Good post Willis135!! I am also curious about players are connected to PSn and evt mediaservers. I see a lot of stutter issues by players how are connected and those who have the downloaded version of The Show 13....

Can you guys maybe post your PS3 model number, for example mine is CECH-2501A. It would make it a lot easier to know what model you have exactly since for instance the CECH-2501A and CECH-3001A both have 160gb HDDS and are the slim model.

And also if you are using the stock HDD that came with the PS3 or an aftermarket one and possibly the brand/size of it.

5. (Should be added) I have been always been connected to PSN when I have been playing, I have had the game since Thursday Feb 28th

Pitcher shudder sometimes 3 pitches in a row. This was in a game. Went to batting practice and there was no problem at all...
