My conclusion is that 1.10 is what is corrupting my files, but if thats the case, how do I get the updates then?

Is the 1.10 patch/update corupt?
I downloaded MLB 13 The Show twice, both times applying the patch that pops up just before the intro. Then, the game resets like normal, but shows the "Sony Computer Entertainment" flash three times before saying the game is corrupted. So I downloaded everything else and I didn't download 1.10 and the game actually didn't corrupt.
My conclusion is that 1.10 is what is corrupting my files, but if thats the case, how do I get the updates then?Tags: None -

I did not have a problem with 1.10. Try deleting any and all game files and reinstall? -
Re: Is the 1.10 patch/update corupt?
Do you mean the whole game again? or just game saves which I have none.
Everytime the game was corrupted it was when I installed 1.10. I'm almost scared to give it another go, after downloaded the game 4 times. Its just so frustrating that I took the day off to play MLB 13 The Show and I didn't get to play until now.

Have the same issue, Downloaded it 3 times before I didn't install the patch. I can play it offline now at least.
Saw on another forum someone said after you install patch 1.10 to back out of the game, log off PSN, and then boot up the game and that will work.
While in game sign back onto PSN and you'll be able to play online.
Haven't tried it yet so not sure if that works.Comment

Yeah, I won't download the update for fear of corrupting my game, and being forced to download it for the 5th time.
I shoulda just went with the disc.Comment

The fact that some people have to jump through hoops to play this game is concerning, to say the least."Don't be afraid to go to number 23, he's alright."Comment

Re: Is the 1.10 patch/update corupt?
Really? Tried it today and it worked for me.
1. I installed the 1.10 patch, went through the Move screen and got the installed corrupt error again.
2. I quit the game, went to Account Management, hit Triangle, and selected Sign Out
3. Booted the game back up this time I got to the Main Screen, went to MLB.com News to log back into PSN. Logged back into PSN and now can play the game while being online.
When you log on to PSN through the game for the first time it kind of freezes for a little bit until the License Agreement comes up which you have to agree to so you can play online.Comment
