Is this my punishment?

Am I getting punished for buying the game early for the first time ever in my life? I seem to be the only person with this draft bug. I can not draft at all no matter what roster set I use. The screen either goes blank before the first round even starts or after the first round ends.


Also, am I the only person with the disappearing player bug? I tried playing a spring training game with default rosters since I cant draft, and in the 7th inning when the computer team made all its defensive substitutions, every player that they put in went invisible. Its very hard to play a game when 7 out of 9 of the oppposing team is invisible!!!!

Is my copy of the game a bad copy? Did this store rip me off? Or is alot of people having these bugs?

I haven't purchased the game yet but after reading through many forum posts, you are not the only one to have these exact problems, in fact, they seem pretty common.This year's game is certainly more buggy than last year's but I'm sure they will fix these things with a patch asap.

I just find it weird that no one is talking about these bugs other than me. I just want some answers and hope I didnt pay 60 bucks for a broken game.

I don't think the game is broken. It's great fun. You've just stumbled upon a couple things that hopefully they can patch up.

I saw the invisible player thing as well. I've been running some cpu vs. cpu tests and I saw an invisible catcher in one game and a shortstop in another. Last year the same thing was happening on double switches. I thought it was patched in the PS3 version, but since the Vita version never had a patch I would occasionally see it there.

Looks like it's back!

have you installed all 10gb of the game? try deleting it and installing it again. Have you filed a bug report over at theshownation.com?
If you haven't re-installed the game that's probably it, files can corrupt on the install for some reason (sometimes, not often). try that. if it still happens then it's something more.

I did file a report at shownation.com.

It just happened to me again, this time in my rivarly. I brought in Freddy Galvis in the bottome of the 9th as a defensive replacement for Kevin Frandsen, and now my 2nd baseman is now invisible!!!

Im reinstalling it now, but this time Im using the five GB dl instead of the ten to see if that makes a difference.

i think the online code is linked to your profile on the ps network. you should just be able to re-download it.

no you wont. if it asks for one again just re download it from the store or your DL history.

Reinstalling the game didnt work guys. Im still not able to see the draft page. This is so frustrating. Im gonna check the inivisible players now.

I wish I could help more, I don't know what it could be. Usually it's never the disc itself, but try seeing if you can take it back and get a new copy?

I live in Philadelphia, I bought the game in chinatown in NYC a few days before the release. I just think its dumb that sony isnt even saying if they are working on the problem or not. I read on other message boards that the draft problem is happening for alot of people.
