HELP IM DESPERATE FOR A SOLUTION!!!!!

I start a Franchise w/ Twins and before starting a Spring Training game Im signing last minute free agents and adjusting 40 man roster and after 5 minutes or so of doing that it freezes completely and I need to restart. But if I play a game I dont have issues, it's only when doing administrative stuff. No matter what I do, this always happens but only in Franchise mode. I played 10 straight hours on RTTS mode and had no issues.... I reformatted the PS3 because it did have a corrupted file and after that didn't work I went back to Gamestop and exchanged it for a new disc too.

Any idea's?! Im desperate!!!

In searching the Internet I found that the save feature thing that you dl when you first open the game might be the cause. Im dying to get home and try, anyone know if this makes sense or any other ideas.. Again Im desperate

Go to the Game Data Utility on the main PS3 menu, and delete the 5GB or 10GB install for your game. Then when you put the disc back in, it will ask you to install it again. Not sure if it will work, but it's worth a try.

This EXACT same issue is happening for me. My franchise has froze all four times I've tried playing it. And always when I'm signing free agents or making roster moves. I've tried to rebuild the PS3 database, I've deleted the 10 gb install and installed the 5 gb instead. Nothing has worked so far. Next I'm going to try starting a new franchise, maybe my first file go corrupted somehow.

I tried starting a new franchise, same freezing issue. Until it fixes, I'll be playing the Show on my Vita.

Gotta be honest.. I feel a lil stupid... The problem was on my end (Big Surprise) I was starting franchise as twins (Yank fan but twins are more of a challenge) they obviously such right now so i jumped in right away trying to rebuild the roster by signing FA & adjusting 40 man roster.. Turns out twins such so bad I kept waiving 10-12 guys off the 40 man roster and uhhhh apparently you cant do this. I believe in past games it prompted you that you cant waive anymore guys but in this game it apparently freezes..

So in conclusion dont try to waive 10-12 players at once...

I've had this happen to me in the past and what I noticed was that in order to avoid it do not make any roster moves until the minor league seasons start. It's a little dumb and obviously a bug but if you just hold off until then it won't freeze on you.
