    How to change Umpire tendencies.

Im looking for where you can change the Umps tendencies like in the past.
This year the Umps are REALLY killing me with just flat out blown calls (every once in a while I would be cool with it, but it is getting kinda bad, several strikes, no part of the ball even touching the black called balls, in the same game. Its costing me runs. Really need help finding it. Thanks guys!

After I turned off the variable strike zone last year I found pitching MUCH more enjoyable. I finally felt like it wasn't me versus the other team AND the umps anymore.

          LOL exactly!
I was Sooooo mad. I had several JOKE balls called against me, and it cost me TWO RUNS! It always seams to be either on the First pitch, and it definitely in, but called a ball, or a strike out pitch, and called a ball....and then the next pitch is a line drive, always with runners in scoring position.

Are you sure you're not looking at this from a biased point of view? I have had bad calls go for and against me batting and pitching. I just think unfairness seems to stick in the mind longer and getting a break is forgotten easier. Personaly I like the mistakes, it adds to the human feel.

How many major league hitters do you think have beat their heads against the wall?...It's part of the game. Sometimes, it forces you to swing when you normally wouldn't and THAT'S baseball.

These umps this year are awful, hopefully they patch it so they at least call pitches clearly in the zone strikes. It's been pretty impossible for me to paint the corners and get any calls my way.

Yea, no I'm talking about as a pitcher. And Im an NL pitcher so I AM seeing it both ways. The truth is that when I took a strike at the plate.....it was a strike.....and when I threw a strike....it was a ball.

Problem has been resolved for the most part. Even on the setting that has all calls correctly, there are still some fluctuations were you will think (REALLY?) but nothing close to as insane as the other way.

And to reply directly to your comment, I have never seen a real life blown call as bad as the few I had called against me today. Thats not "Keeping it real" or "Part of the game" it was just several REALLY bad calls (Period)

Maybe you got some NBA refs. If so sorry to hear that because unfortunately there's not a fix. Well wait there is a fix. Wink wink know what I mean know what I mean.

I'm certainly not knocking you guys for this but isn't it kinda fun to feel like theirs a element of luck and or randomness?

I actually like cruising along with my pitcher only to be a bloop hit and or untimely walks to make the game exciting.

How can I change Angel Hernandez's real-life tendencies? He's killing the game for me.

This really does go both ways...I get my fair share of called strikes on pitches clearly outside of the zone too (some don't even hit the border of it).

I DO agree with what you are saying. And looking back at my posts perhaps I am coming off as (its too hard .. cry cry) thats not what I mean. I am pitching in All Star. I have made it to the bigs (Miami) and had a 4 hit 17 strike out shut out to finish the season
My ERA is usually around 2.80 ish.....I give up some long balls, I don't walk as much as I realistically should. Right now I have the most strikeouts at 31 and the least walks 3.

What I am talking about is totally different from (reality) these balls feel like the game is just screwing with me, in no way shape or form should these EVER be called balls even WITH variable ump calls. Just ridiculous blown calls at the worst possible moment. If I knew how to record them I would show you what I am talking about, so you would understand.

well in RTTS it may be a different animal. I play franchise mostly but I've always felt RTTS had the bust you down kinda feeling as if to emulate paying your due's.
