I had one hit off the mound (pitching rubber, I suppose) and shoot straight up...I mean straight up, about 60ft in the air. The homerun shot here definitely takes the cake though.

Did the ball actually hit the pitcher? Or the plate?

I've seen the ball bounce off of some object very hard on the game but never seen it becoming a HR.

Maybe this is SCEA's answer to a common complaint about pitchers being hit and fielding them too often. Now there is a chance for HR people will actually try to hit them......
