I love this game and im playing RTTS was promoted from AA to AAA fater a 361 avg 20 HR 65 RBI a good solid start. played 20 GAMES IN AAA batting .125 cant hit a thing lol....what is happening im swinging in the dirt at high pitches I assume im getting more off speed pitches and sliders curves and i am having big time problems im playing on all star with TNK sliders is it that i stink if so how can i get better I find my self getting really ticked off haha i want this to be fun but not easy!! help guys??

There is an under the hood difficulty level increase when you get promoted, that's probably what you're experiencing. It's supposed to get tougher as you get higher up.

Lowering the difficulty one notch from whatever you've got it at should at least make it seem like it was in AA.

The same thing will happen when you hit MLB.

It sounds like just a slump, AA vs AAA wouldn't account for all of that difference. If you hit .125 the next 20 games, then I'd be more concerned. =) Do take a look at what pitchers you're facing by pressing SELECT. You'll see a significant variety between the different teams and games you face.

I had the same experience today. Couldn't hit a lick. So I turned the game off and came back. I was simply "thinking" too much. Turned it around and started to RAKE

I find turning off the game and playing something else helps as well. Clear your mind.

I'm not sure, but I think since the difficulty goes up, so does pitch speed... Since pitch speed is tied to difficulty level everywhere else. If you fine tuned the pitch speed slider while playing AA, the speeds are going to be even higher now.

You could also try making the sliders less harsh. I think I glanced at TNK's sliders and there were a lot of decreases to human offense overall. I'm not questioning anything since I've barely even played this year, but if you're having trouble, just lessen some of those cuts.

Also take this time to evaluate the camera you're using. You might need a better angle.

That explains why on '12 I was hitting .325 in AA, then when I got called up to AAA it was .235!

I played D-2 baseball and hit over .300 every year. played ss/3b/and 2b. I did not like hitting even then!! LOL. I just like the challenge of pitching and it takes a lot less concentration.

Same here. 337 at AA. I got call up to AAA around June, and I hit around 225 and somehow I got call up to MLB around July, and it goes down to 105.

I know most want to get called up as quickly as possible, but I enjoy the journey. Not to mention I need as much time in the minors to build those attributes cause like you I got called up to early in 12 and I stunk in the Bigs due to poor attributes.

I'm the same way, I hardly ever hit! Not that I can't, I just don't enjoy it as much as pitching! I created a 3B back in 2011 and raked, it was fun but I've always found I stay more interested in the game if I'm only pitching! Plus it allows me to finish the season faster as my playing time is cut in half! Only time it frustrates me is when my offense isn't doing anything off of a terrible pitcher.

I can't hit a homerun anymore. Hell screw a homerun I would just love to hit a damn double every once in a while. In my franchise mode I was hitting everything. I was scoring insane amounts of runs and hitting homeruns. So I slowly put the sliders down to make the games more realistic. Now I can't hit a damn homerun or a double to save my life so now I can't score and win games anymore. It's unblieveable. I've put the sliders back to default and still can't hit homeruns. I get perfect timing and solid hit and everything ends up being a normal depth fly ball that ends up getting caught. It's really pissing me off. Sorry I just had to vent.
