Spring Training Question?

Ok. Setting for my Dilemma....

I plan to use the Atlanta Braves for my Franchise once OSFM rosters drop (Big Thanks to ALL Involved... Such a Fantastic Project)

My biggest position battles for Spring revolve around 3rd base and SS. Since Johnson/Francisco (3rd) and Simmons/Pastornicky(SS) are all part of SCEA stock rosters, I know there will be no changes to these players via OSFM.

If I go ahead and play ST, decide my position battles.... Will I be losing anything once I start fresh with OSFM in a few weeks. In other words, do players hot/cold streaks from ST carry over to the regular season? Since we have to skip spring training (due to bug) at the moment anyway, would it even matter? For example, I would hate for Francisco to hit .600 during the spring, earn a job, and then be affected negatively when I sim ST with new rosters and he hits .100 for the spring..

I want to be ready to start my franchise once rosters drop. Looking for information on how this all works under the hood I guess. Does anyone have any thoughts / suggestions? This maybe a simple answer of has "no effect", move on.... Which would be a good answer as far as I am concerned ...

Pretty sure it has no effect. But as a fellow Braves fan why is Simmons v Pastor even a battle? Simmons is by FAR the better player. Not to mention he is already considered by some an elite defensive SS.

Probably a "user" effect ....

I just always seem to perform better with nicky at the dish... Call it dumb luck I guess... I use timing batting ....

Yeah Pastornicky usually wins all the spring battles for me too, also not that great a difference in game, especially since they're both B potentials.

However since your skipping spring training and not playing our simming it. You don't have to worry about spring starts because there will not be any so just go with who you're comfortable with.

Also if it helps in two franchises I've done with the Bravos on 13 Johnson has hit over .300 both times.

And if I understand everything correctly, skipping is necessary right now due to the bug causing dramatic changes to player abilities... correct? Looks like I am getting the answers I was hoping for ... Time to continue on with ST... Go Braves !!!
