Hard Freezes Continue to Plague me in '13...

Had my 1st freeze during a menu screen last night... This is ridiculous.

That would be a bad decision, unless you are having the hard freeze issues and it never gets fixed which is pretty unlikely. This game is much better than last years, I cant explain it but it just feels like baseball more than any other game in the series.

knowing me, i will cave and buy it. i must confess though, the freeze stories, the massive bugs, etc has definitely kept me at bay.

I found my laptops old 160 gb hard drive and put that in the PS3 and did a full backup and restore. It froze playing the show in the franchise menu and would have quick delays that were hardly noticable in the menu at certain points so obviously it didnt work. To be fair it had been making clicking sounds in my laptop which was the reason I replaced it in the first place so I was not expecting it to fix the issue.

I just bought a 120 gb Samsung 840 SSD and will install that when it gets here and see if that makes a difference and let you guys know. If it doesnt then there is nothing we can do on our end really and will have to wait for a patch. I was going to buy an ssd for my pc anyways so I figure I might as well try it in the PS3 first and see what happens.

Mine froze while I was trying to modify my custom music list. BTW, I have a brand new 500gb ps3. I waited until the patch came out before I even took the game out of the box in an effort to avoid the problems I've been reading about.

I've had this happen twice to me today, once in the middle of roster editing and then during franchise while viewing the calendar. Anyone know if a bug report has been filed with SCEA?

Yeah, there are a few bug reports filed that are pretty similar, unfortunately it seems like a lot of people are having this issue. Is everyone using the PSN version of the show like me or is it happening to people with the disc as well?
