    Blue chip prospects

When looking at info for this game it seemed like blue chip players were going to be hard to draft, but when the draft came around all the blue chip players are available to draft at any of the rounds. Is this supposed to happen? Are they not as good as they look, they all say 95-99 potential.

If you look they are far away from being in MLB. CPU picks players that are close to MLB ready despite potential. Its very easy to draft in game. Just look for guys with best potential that are young. I always make sure guy will be ready by 25 at MLB level. Some guys you will see that are A potential but are 24 y/o and not expected in big leagues until there 30. I actually made a rule that i only pick 1st 2 RDS then i let CPU draft for me cause by 2020 my team is so full of young studs that i cant play everyone. I would have 90's on my bench

But you can use those young studs to trade for basically whatever your team needs.
