What type of create a player improvements and accessories would you like to see in MLB 14?

Please post pictures if you have them. Also no Nike questions or requests please.

No template? I just have 3 things for CaP

- The ability to set multiple secondary positions, ala a Ben Zobrist or Michael Young.

- The elimination of power splits for non-switch hitters. What hand the pitcher throws with has no bearing on the muscle cells in my body.

- Most importantly: A glossary/explanation of ratings! So that I actually know what I'm doing when I'm creating a player or editing one.

Add player specific base hit music. Rangers will sometimes use the batters walk up music when they get a hit. Of course keep the three slots for base hit music.

Either a

1. Great and thorough tutorial for the face creator with descriptions with what each graph/slider does or...

2. A web or PS4 system based face creator like what EA has.

3. Different amounts of pine tar on the bat. Like with helmet pine tar; light, medium, heavy.

This next one especially...

Fix the "bug" where helmet width correlates to ear size. If your created player has big or wide ears, their helmet will get wider and wider. This only happens with created players, not real players. Like for Oscar Taveres, he has an abnormally wide helmet because of his ears.


For the sake of exaggeration, the first two pics are of ears as close to the head as possible, the second two are pics of the ears as far away from the head as possible.

Just by changing the x-axis of one graph, I can change the width of the helmet. The helmet should be one size, one width.

i would like to be able to change the length of hair as they have in nba2k13, such as beard length and top of head hair.

ex:

e that brian wilson beard or the long hair that drops down to/past my shoulders.

also as bobhead said, more than 1 second position.

--for pitcher, something along the line of where the pitcher throws from on the mound--left/right/or center on the rubber

Two main accessories i would be so ecstatic to see in MLB 14 the Show:

- Different fitting jerseys to choose from (short jersey sleeves, long jersey sleeve options. Right now the sleeves in the game are too long in my opinion.)

- Unbuttoned jersey option ( one button, two buttons).

List of CAP Features I would like to see:

- Ability to select style of jersey. (Baggy, Tight, Normal) and as already mentioned, the ability to have the unbuttoned look as so many players wear. (Hopefully free moving jerseys will come in addition)

-Better curvature design of the bent brims on caps. Hat looks really odd on some players when you selected the curved option. Really distorts the logo on the front of the cap.

-Necklace accessories. A ton of players wear them. (Gold chains, Crosses, Phiten etc.) Doesn't even have to be something that moves, can tuck in the front of the jersey.

- More realistic facial textures/features, hair styles/textures. Seem like you can still tell the difference between a CAP and a regular Cyber Face in game. Don't know if it's the texture or the way the lighting hits a created players face, but there is something strikingly unrealistic about the CAP face tech. Also very limited in hair options and also would like big beards like Brian Wilson to be available as well. The ability to choose length of these things would be a huge plus as well.

-More options for walk ups, more realistic stride options and more HR Celebration options.

-Need more batting glove, fielding glove and shoe designs and better customization of the coloring of them. Seems like the coloring of shoes is very limited.

-The ability to select a certain delivery from a signature animation. (Example: If I really like Jeff Samardzija's animation from the stretch, and want to use it exclusively for a reliever I create, I should be able to do so)

-Body style sliders. Ability to select length and width of arms/legs/torso/neck etc.

-Also, give us the ability to edit body types of current in-game players as well. Some player models are way off.

Also, a few other things:

- Option to not wear long sleeves during cold games. (No or yes option in editor, a lot of players don't wear long sleeves in the cold, recently saw Trevor Rosenthal pitching in the playoffs with no long sleeves).

- When choosing the length of your undershirt/sleeves, instead of having options 3/4, short, none, and long, just make it a bar, where you can increase, and the fuller the bar, the longer the sleeves so you can make the sleeves exactly as long as you want

- Low stirrups

-More hair and beard options (specifically long hair option, and a better full beard option, like a Bryce Harper beard, or Brandon Morrow beard).

- Long wrist tape

Well seanjeezy pretty much said it all lol.

My main one:
Batting Gloves while running the bases! I would love this option. I think it would really give more realism and really show how different each player is while running the bases.

- Different jersey types would be great. Being able to have it unbuttoned, loose, tight, ect. As well as undershirts. Have loose 3/4 sleeves, different lengths, ect.

- A middle length for compression sleeves. Like seanjeezy stated, there should be a length of compression sleeve in between the 2 options we have now.

- Longer wrist tape. Have an option to have wide or thin wrist tape. Wrist tape about the size of the wrist braces would be nice.

- Silicone Wristbands. Like the "LIVESTRONG" bands. Give us the option to wear those and plenty of color options.

- Necklaces. Phiten, Chains, ect.

- Be able to wear a small elbow pad while batting AND be able to wear an arm band. I can see why they would take the arm band off for the bigger elbow protectors, but I don't know why it would remove my armband for the smaller elbow pad.

- Body style sliders would also be great.

One more thing.
Option to wear Eye Black or Eye Tape in BOTH day and night games!

More hair and beard options!!! There is no long hair or long beard option which is lame. :-/ If Brian Wilson can have that hair style and beard style in game, then why can't I give it to my CAP? Also, different jersey styles.

1. The ability to choose two stances (one from batting from the left side and one from the batting on the right) for switch hitters.
   
2. No more hidden stances and pitching styles. This includes not being able to use some in Diamond Dynasty, Franchise, Exhibition.
   
3. The ability to choose between a pitcher’s windup and stretch motions. Also an option that allows you to pick a stretch motion only. Some pitchers always pitch from the stretch e.g. Craig Kimbrell, Drew Storen, David Robertson, etc.
   
4. Give us more options by expanding on the walkup, practice swing, stride, take pitch, take pitch stride, miss, homerun swing options. If there were more options for this customization would be endless.
   
5. The ability to set specific multiple positions such as: Ben Zobrist is listed as a RF but also plays, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF. Martin Prado is the same but primarily listed as a 3B. Steve Lombardozzi as well as many others are similar.
   
6. The choice of choosing between a player holding gloves in his hand, wearing batting gloves, or no batting gloves when running the bases.
   
7. When selecting options with: Team Color Default, Team Color 1, Team Color 2, Team Color 3 show us the color change in the editor for that option chosen.
   
8. Pine tar in different amounts such as: none, light, medium, and high. Pine tar shows in the middle of the bat. (See photo below)

My preferences in order:
-Low Stirrups
-More shoe styles
-Be able to choose what kind of glove type. Not just one type for infielders/outfielders
-Abilty to have more than one stance for switch hitters
-Open stances having more options than the 3 walkups
-Option for short sleeves in cold weather
-Flip down sunglasses
and once again Low Stirrups
