Suscessful Position Change? MLB 13 The Show

anyone been able to change their position in 13 the show? i am tired of being a 3B and want to become a Sortstop... any feedback?

I don't play RTTS that much and definetly have not touched it at all this year but I don't ever remember being able to change positions, unless they let you edit players, and if so, edit your position to a new one...

I changed to firstbase from playing third. Improved my fielding percentage to make goal. I also tried outfield as secondary position, after a little time I started getting better at it, especially at center.

I was drafted as a shortstop and played there until I got called up to the majors. Then, like an idiot I changed to CF. Eventually, I just turned off the fielding opportunities

I've been trying to change from SS to 3B for ever, i literally tried like 10 times. I signed with the yankees in my age 28 season, and the yankees had a 99 rated SS already and they still won't let me switch to 3B.

I just want to have a career like A-Rod.

Making this topic has been on my to-do list for a while.

I've pressed that button close to 50 times now and I've never been able to change my position.

Have played countless careers on every version of the Show ever made, except this year as the presentation really turned me off and I'm more involved in franchise than usual.

Anyway Like Bobhead I've probably hit it at least 50 times per edition, and I've never been able to switch. I've seen/heard it done it's just never worked for me.

I have a friend who was able to change it. He was a 2B and successfully moved to SS. But in my case, Im currently a 3B but I want to change to CF.. I even manually injured the starting CF and the bench player so I could get move down there but nothing. Our backup catcher is currently the startinng CF. it stinks lol

Your best change to have a successful position change is moving to a position considered in your secondary position that you stated when creating your player..

Also you have to be doing pretty bad to even possibly get switched.
If your doing well and asking to switch, why would they move you?

Try giving up a bunch of errors / bat horrible for a few weeks and then ask for a position change.

Maybe that's why I haven't gotten a position change...I have a SS in his 8th season that has 9 errors and a .998 FLD% over his career. He went an unimaginable 3yrs!!!! without an error while playing with the Marlins. When i signed as a free agent with the Mariners they had Elvis Andrus and a garbage 3rd baseman. i figured i could move to 3rd to get Elvis on the field and they still wouldn't let me. It would certainly maximize the teams potential for them to move a 6 time GG to 3rd or 2nd upon request.
