    Need some variety

So I've been an avid player of The Show since 07. I don't have any problems with the game itself, it's just feeling a little boring recently. I've tried changing the camera angles but I really sucks that way haha. I'm thinking about changing the pitching and batting controls (I've used meter pitching and zone batting forever). Do you guys have any other ideas to make it seem a little different and exciting?

I play online games against HUM to mix things up a bit. The gameplay AI is quite good and give you challenge, but at times it feels it becomes a bit consistent in its approach (consistently good). HUM players are entirely different beasts... some are really good (better than AI), others not so much. But you can feel that human brains are behind in all those games. That's my way of getting more variety out of this game.

(However, there are many players who aren't courteous. So if you aren't thick skinned about nuisances like cheesing, online games may cause more frustrations than they are worth.)

Play a different mode. If you've been a Franchise guy, give RTTS a shot and vice versa.

Fantasy Draft can also freshen things up.

I'm doing RTTS for the first time since '06. It's definitely been a bit of rejuvenation for me. I think I got a bit tired of the pitching.

Somehow RTTS keeps slipping my mind. I've played it a little on 13 and I do think it's really improved over past years. I think I'll give it a good shot
