I want to rebuild a franchise and want to do a team that has a good minor league team or has veteran players with trade value
My current list is the O's and mets
I am up for suggestions but I don't really want to do the cubs twins or Astros

Mets have a solid core, especially in the world of video games where you have overrated prospects, a functional Ike Davis, no Wilpon drama, Ike Davis...

you can replace the scouts with actual good ones, you have Ike Davis, you have a standard medical budget instead of the real-life Mets (non-existant) one.

You have Ike Davis... a world where Jordany Valdespin is actually a good player, and this really good first baseman who hits a ton of home runs.

Johan Santana is not on his death bed, Jon Niese is a little better than his real-life self will be.

You have two good catchers... and did I mention Ike Davis?

I think you'll have fun rebuilding the New York Ikes, I mean Mets.

Yeah I am doing Mets this year myself. Lost Ike Davis in the 2nd week of april for 3 months. Picked up Jim Thome and does he ever look good in a Mets uni lol. Matt Harvey, Zack wheeler and Johan Santana is quite a stellar staff imo.
In other words, much better in franchise mode than real life.
