I ask this question, partially, because Forbes Field reduced its right field dimension from 376 to 300. And I personally find 300 feet for any part of a park to be ridiculously unfair for pitchers.

Classic Stadium Dimensions
There are a few classic stadiums I enjoy using in place of current parks. They are Shibe Park and Forbes Field. However both of these parks changed in dimensions over the years. I tried checking the outfield walls, via replay, to see if outfield wall dimensions were listed. And they weren't. Does anyone know what the dimensions are for these parks in the game? Are they the final dimensions the parks used. Or what they were when they opened.

You might have to use the stadium in a home run derby and estimate by how far the ball goes.Comment

Were you able to figure this out by looking at the park via replay and seeing if the renovations were included or not? I hope you're right about Forbes, as I much prefer playing in neutral or pitcher friendly parks.Comment

You think 300 is short. Try the Polo Grounds. I really do not like playing there at all. Sportman's Park is cool.Comment

I would love a wider selection of Old Stadiums... I'd like to see old Cleveland Stadium of course, being a Clevelander
Also, something that could be really cool would be a Stadium Creator, or something in Franchise Mode... Something that would make the "money" your team earns in Franchise mode actually mean something... Being able to make changes, or complete rebuilds to existing stadiums would be amazing...
Maybe with next gen they will have this capability?Comment

I hope so. I'd love some of the stadiums I grew up with. Astrodome, Riverfront, Three Rivers, old Busch, Tiger, Kingdome, Qualcomm, Milwaukee County.I would love a wider selection of Old Stadiums... I'd like to see old Cleveland Stadium of course, being a Clevelander

It'd be cool to have "Heritage Games" or something during the regular season, with throwback jerseys and playing in the stadiums during rivalries. I'd manipulate them myself during a franchise, but it'd be a super cool thing.Comment

I'm using Classic Stadiums in my Franchise
Cards-Sportsman
Pirates-Forbes
Mets-Shea
Reds-Crosley
Nationals-Griffith
Yankees-Old Yankee
Rays-Polo
A's-Shibe
If you think about it.. Considering the geographical possibilities, Two things would take Classic Stadiums over the top.
1) Give us Ebbetts Field and
2) Let us rearrange the divisons such as bringing the Dodgers, A's, and Giants back East.Comment
