Did you ever see/get an ejection?

Ejections are a part of baseball whether it's arguing strikes/balls, a bad call, or to get your team fired up. I've seen the cutscene about 5 times where the mgr questioned a broken up DP (middle infielder dropped ball, but ruled out on the transfer). No ejection.

I've also seen 2 different cut scenes where the hitter backs away from the plate and complain a little whether it's a bad strike call or the pitcher threw at him. No ejection.

Nothing.

I have ejections turned on. Am I doing something wrong?

I was safe at first and called out then Girardi came out livid. He was tossed out.

Funny timing for the question...as I just saw my first ejection today. Brandon Morrow was pitching for me, and in the 5th inning he hit his second batter. Both were unintentional, and the first beaned batter was in the 1st inning, and he was ejected. I'd never seen an ejection before. I didn't know it was coming and buttoned through the cut scene, so I missed it all except seeing the players in the dugout jump to their feet.

Yea i wish you could manually argue calls... i remember PS3 version of MLB 2k7 had this (Jeter on the cover?)
If you argued a call that was obviously correct you would get tossed no matter how much (or in this case little) you button mashed triangle for enthusiasm

I've never seen an ejection in the game, but it might just be me.

I was playing my brother a few days ago, Giants VS A's.

Jarrod Parker tried to pitch inside and nailed Jeff Francoeur. Cue a cutscene of Francoeur losing it, yet Parker being ejected.

Does anyone remember which game it was that when the manager or player was out arguing a call, you had to keep the dial in the green for the fans and players to get pumped up without getting thrown out? If it fell in the yellow, you could get thrown out but everyone would be pumped up. If it was in the red, you got thrown out and it hurt player/fan morale. I'm thinking it was either EA or Triple Play...

And back on topic, I have only seen one ejection and that was back in the '09 version I believe, though I have seen many a call that could have warranted a dispute...

I had Freddie Freeman go nuts on the first base ump after a close call at first. Announcers said something along the lines of "And he's gone nuclear out there," and then he got tossed.

Only ejections are for the pitcher hitting a batter or arguing a call at first. You might see the batter charge the mound but the cutscene stops there (they can't show fighting, plus he doesn't get ejected only the pitcher). Haven't seen either in this year's so far.

No. Managers and players can get ejected for arguing calls. Both at the plate and on base. Dont skip the cut scenes on 50/50 calls and you guys would see them more. Jeter just got called for one at first. Look for the player to signal that he's safe and get called out. I was actually mad at the Jeter one.

Playing PJs 1988 roster season replay. Willie Mays Hayes (he made the rays the guys from Major League) got tossed aruging a tag out play on his attempt to go from 1st to 3rd on a single to right field by Roger Dorn. I am the Yankees....I was cracking up. Love it.

Never seen arguments at the plate, though I do miss hearing on bad called strike threes "Watch those magic words...". What's he going to do, swear-bomb the ump?
