SP on roster but can't put him in the rotation?

Hey guys, I have Ivan Nova in my Franchise mode, I'm in the World Series and just realized that he's not on my starting pitching rotation... I can see him on the roster but can't put him as an SP. He's not in the bullpen either... Please help!

1. Make sure he is on the MLB level...
2. Sometimes when the rosters expand in September...the pitchers not in the rotation get shoved BELOW the CP slots in the pitch rotation screen.
Check down there(just try and scroll below CP)

Did you acquire him from another team, promote him, or move him to, OR FROM, the disabled list, on, or after September 1st, in your franchise? If so, he's probably ineligible for the postseason.

That's "September 1st" in The Show time, not... yesterday.
