hi...I'm having the same freezing problems I had in The Show 13 as I did with The Show 12. It seems to happen right after the 09/01/13 calender date. The game plays ok for the first few innings but I know I'm going to have problems when the announcers stop talking and the PA announcer stops as well. Also, some pictures of the players won't show in between innings, for instance...like who is coming up the next inning. This all happens but I can still play for maybe another 10 minutes before the entire game freezes. This is exactly what happened for me in last years version but I never was able to find out why. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening again? I'm using the OS Full Minors rosters so wonder if that may have anything to do with this.

Make sure you backup all your files on the system. This was the behavior my game did (but I'm not certain it was on 9/1) a few days before my PS3 crashed and I had to rebuild (format) the drive. Other than that, I'm using the OSFM rosters and have played several seasons without incident on a healthy unit. -

Did any of your minor league affiliates make the playoffs? Happened to me in 12, something to do if I recall with 40-man call-ups and resulting screwed up minors pitching rotations, where 1 affiliate makes postseason and other doesn't.
I had to go back to an old file pre-Sept. 1 and sim (sacrificing playing those MLB games, mind you) til both minor league teams missed qualifying for the playoffs. Took about 5 tries. 40-man Sept call-ups went off w/o a hitch, freeze went away and I was able to resume play on Sept. 2.Comment
