Re: Best memories playing the show?
In MLB 12 when I had an 8-run 7th as the Cubs against the Nationals to tie the game using the 2004 roster set. I think I hit around 5 home runs. Then in the 10th Todd Walker walked us off.Check out my Baseball Rumors Blog http://baseballrumors101.blogspot.com/ -

Re: Best memories playing the show?
You know, I don't have one strong moment. However, every year is special. I love the anticipation. Waiting to hear an announcement on the new game, kind of like right now. Then, when we see some gameplay. Then, when the day arrives that I go pick it up and kill at least half the day. All of that stuff are just real good memories I will have for a long time.Comment

Re: Best memories playing the show?
Playing every inning, pitch and play of my NY Yankees 1994 season replay on MLB 12.
Pure joy. Except getting swept out of the ALCS by the Go Go White Sox.
But an amazing experience it was. Best season I have had yet. Hopefully my 1988 Yankees can top it. So far we are off to a very strong first half......to be continued. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Best memories playing the show?
mlb 12 - buddy and I had a 2-player season going on, fantasy draft, he chose the red sox and i took the diamondbacks. just a few highlights:
- he drafted jim thome (loved him, used him as a dh) and he had 2 multi-homer games within the first week and 4 walk-offs just in that year. made the all-star team.
- i was in need late of a 3rd baseman and had to draft an aging a-rod. my buddy gave me grief but a-rod had multiple clutch hits all year, one was a walkoff hr to complete the cycle and beat him at fenway in the series. to this day, he resents that man.

Whatever year the Show brought back the Polo Grounds, '10 maybe
I always will remember playing one game where I had like 5 or 6 triples.
Since that game, Polo has become my fave classic stadium.Comment

Re: Best memories playing the show?
I think it was 12. I was the Dodgers playing the Phillies. It was an hitter's game and I believe score was 11 dodgers 10 Phillies.... It was the bottom of the 9th bases loaded 2 outs, i don't remember who was up to bat but he hits it deep into dead center field.... Kemp racing back..... He leaps over the wall and...... Game over.Comment

Re: Best memories playing the show?
Can't forget this one. Threw a no-hitter with A.J. Burnett (Yankees) vs the Blue Jays on The Show 2009.
It was an awesome game. Walked 3. But shut them down and was on the edge of my seat in the 8th and ninth with basically no energy.....just throwing it and hoping.
It has been the only no no I have thrown on any version of The Show. And did it of course on Classic Pitching. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Best memories playing the show?
Winning the World Series tops everything, but here are a few others.
- My last name was added in MLB 12, so its awesome to hear my full name announced. I also hit a walk-off single with myself, so that was pretty cool too.
- Also in MLB 12, in the bottom of the 9th there was a lefty on the mound and I had Saltalamaccia leading off the inning. I put in Shoppach to pinch hit and had a walkoff HR.
- Pitched a no-hitter (my first in The Show) with Rubby de la Rosa, although it was in Triple A.
I'm sure there are others but those are ones from the top of my head right now.Comment
