Quick Count-where to turn it on or off

I have a strange problem with QC. Note that this is franchise, and I created a player and imported him into the roster, not sure if that is whats causing this or not. I do player lock with him, so I am him

But....

When I start a game, I get to that last screen before it goes to the field, and you can turn QC on or off there. This is how it affects me

Neither On nor Off, affect the other players on the team. Whether on or off, they all have QC when they come to the plate, as do the opposing players.

The only difference is my imported player lock guy. If QC is off, then I get the whole at bat 0-0 If it is turned on, then I, like all the other players, get a QC.

This imported player is the only one I control. It is like RTTS, even though it is a franchise. I play my position, have my own ABs, but all else is done by AI

Is this how it should be? What I want is for QC to be OFF for everyone, as I think it gives 2 strike counts WAY too often and puts both teams at a disadvantage. So many 0-2. 1-2, its like the batters are always behind, and it shows in the stats. never had more than 5 or 6 hits for each team, in about 20 games now.

Something seems screwball to me. Is that last screen before the game starts the only place you can turn qc on or off? And why does it make no difference which I choose, except for my imported player. I guess this player lock has some affects undesired by me.

Check your Mode Specific Settings, specifically Game Watch (which is part of RTTS and/or if you're using Player Lock) - it's probably set to Result Play where you'd only see the final pitch of everyone else's ABs (walk, strikeout, hit into play). This is how the rest of the game plays out when you're not batting. And yes - the last screen in Ex, 'Chise & Season after selecting the stadium is the only place where you can toggle QC.

Ok, thanks for that. It did help. However...

With Franchise loaded, mode specific has no RTTS options. Just the Franchise stuff. So I loaded my RTTS player, went to mode specific and changed game watch from Result play (as you predicted) to All Pitches

The results of doing that are odd.

So I then Load Franchise, start a game, tell it QC off. My team (Oakland) is still getting QC, I as the 1st baseman, am not. So No change there.

BUT the opposing team no longer has QC. Starts each batter at 0-0 which is what I would think it would also do to Oakland players. Quite odd.

Any other ideas on how to get Oakland players with no QC? Its got me stumped. Not sure why Player Lock should affect QC for the rest of the team.

I appreciate yours and anybody else's help.

When your teammates are batting, does it show "Count: X-X" on black? That's QC talking, if not then you still have Result Play on somewhere.

Check the other Mode Specific settings, Game Completion (which would not apply here unless you were subbed out) also has Result Play.

You can also access the RTTS stuff in-game paused (Game Settings). Go through them and tell me what they're set to.

All right! Thanks to everyone's input, I finally figured it out. It is indeed another RTTS option: RTTS CPU Teammate Hitting. I had that at like 1/3 or whatever and changed it to all. NOW my teamates no longer have a count set.

I thank all, we got there step by step. I had no idea you could access RTTS options within a game either, so thats extra cool.

Thanks guys.

That would be Player Lock talking as its otherwise known as RTTS Anywhere. The only teammate hitting options are all & half (how much of their ABs you see) but thats only while you're on base.
