If youre such a PS4 gamer now, why are you still here on the PS3 side of OS?
Apparently there is nothing here for you anymore since the PS3 is such an inferior console.
lol what just offering him some input, with that being said I think the PS4 version will be the better version this year and the following years.

But your input often puts others down and thier choices.

State your case and move on, no need to single out people who arent making the jump.

Its great that you want and a have a G1PS4. But some of us are willing to wait for a better version. There is no need for you to put them down or suggest they give up gaming. Thats not contributing to the discussion.

dude relax no one is putting anyone down PS4 plays games NOW and have a good lineup coming up to go along with a big update that will address a lot of requested features. If he wants to wait after E3 or another year by all means do so, but again he asked the question and gave my answer...The PS4 plays games as intended if OP wants to dig deeper

Re: PS3 vs PS4

The only difference between the PS3 and PS4 versions of MLB 14 the show is that in the ps4 you will get better images and resolution.... After that everything else (gameplay) is the same.

some of these are pretty big
  • Intro Fly-Ins (PS4 Only)
  • New bat boy and ball boy presentations (PS4 Only)
  • All-new high-resolution crowd reactions, ambient noise, cheers, etc…. (PS4 Only)
  • Japan League-style and slap-hitter swing types (PS4 Only)
  • Over 350 new fielding and batting animations (PS4 Only)
  • Team specific, player specific, team generic crowd signs (PS4 Only)

Re: PS3 vs PS4

I appreciate ALL of the input. That's why I posted the question here.

Remember - I only play NCAA Football and FIFA and have just gotten into The Show. The more I play NCAA, the less I've played FIFA so really The Show might be the only PS4 game I'd own for a while.

The money is not the issue really as I have set aside the cash to get the PS4. My concern is - paying $400 to play one - maybe two. It might not be worth it to me. I am still new to gaming for the most part. All told, the PS4 + The Show + the tax comes to $492 here in Tampa Bay. While I have the cash, I'm just not sure that I can justify that purchase until I start playing more games. Or until NCAA gets released on PS4.
