I already have the PS4 version pre-ordered at Gamestop, but if I do decide to also get the PS3 version, I may do Amazon to get that controller skin.

I'm considering picking up Infamous: Second Son and then trading it in before 4/20 and getting $40 in in-store credit for it and then using that $40 towards pre-ordering The Show.

Right now I have absolutely nothing to play for my PS4 lol.

Technically, yes. But after a while certain GS do tend to catch on and will either give you a hard time or even claim that you cannot return the game since you could have used the code. Some people use GS as a rental service, buying used games and then returning them within a week to get their money back.

The bonus is just that, a bonus for preordering. Once purchased you have the same rights as a customer that anyone else has.

Some people do consider it return fraud though, to purchase something with the express purpose to return it for benefit.

Does somewhere else give you $20 worth of free stuff? If not, then it's worth it. If they do, then you have a decision to make lol


Other than Gamestop, Amazon is the only pre-order deal right now and they are giving away a skin for your DS4.

Any other place you get it, as of now, you get nothing. So I see it as a clear decision: get free stuff or don't? I haven't seen what the free DS4 skin from Amazon looks like, and I'm not entirely sure I'd want it anyway. So the Gamestop deal sounds the best for me.



I just didn't understand what he meant by "is it worth it?" Because that phrase tends to imply that you're sacrificing something, or giving something up in order to get the pre-order deal, when it's actually the same price.

Yeah, I could have put that some other way. I'm sure it IS worth it, I just didn't know of any alternatives.
