This doesn't really have much to do with anything, but I really feel like there should be a link to the forum rules up at the top in the site navigation somewhere.

Putting the forum rules in one specific forum near the bottom of the forum list isn't really conducive to new people reading it.

I know even for me personally, there was a discernible gap, many months long, in between the time I became an active user, and the time I stumbled upon "Steve's Forum," and found the TOS.

It's highly possible that a good portion of the newer userbase has no idea where to find the rules, and thus, doesn't know what they are.

While I agree that would be a good idea for reference, you don't actually have to dig to find them...you are given the TOS when you sign up and even have to check off that you read them. So if someone doesn't know the rules of the forum they just signed up for, then it's their own fault.

I realize that but let's be honest here... Have you ever signed up for something without reading whatever they were forcing you to read? Do you use iTunes? Google? Don't tell me you read every single line of those things.

Heh...If your contention is that nobody really reads them, then how does making them easier to find matter?
