Players running opposite way?
This happened to me last year when a ball hit in play and your fielder automatically run the other direction. it gets very annoying.Tags: None -
Re: Players running opposite way?
This usually happens when the player thinks they are controlling one palyer when they are actually controlling another.
Example. Fly ball hit to left-center, ball seems like it should be the left fielders ball, but the game assigns player control to the center fielder. So you push right on the stick thinking you are moving the LF right, meanwhile the CF is going right instead of left. Happens a lot to me with ground balls through the 3B-SS hole as well.
This is the only type of scenario where I'e experienced this.Last edited by MrOldboy; 04-01-2014, 04:59 PM. -
Re: Players running opposite way?
It could be wearing out.
It happened with runner on 1st and 2nd no body out grounder to third third would of been close play at first with Marte running but Olt decides to run the opposite direction that lead to base loaded no body out.Comment

Re: Players running opposite way?
Had this issue until I followed the steps to "reset" my controller. There's a small button you can press with a needle or pencil, etc. Forgot the exact steps but it has something to do with that. After I did that, I stopped having the issue for a really long time. Good luck!Comment

Re: Players running opposite way?
Never had this problem in my hundreds of hours of playing 12, but saw it often in 13 (Vita versions only). Extremely frustrating, gutted to hear it remains in 14.Comment

Re: Players running opposite way?
I had this problem big time in last year's game, and I realized it was all me. What you're probably doing is still holding the stick up or down after you throw the pitch, so when your control switches to the outfielder nearest to the ball, he runs the wrong way at first (until you move the stick the right way). You have to train yourself to let go of the stick and let it reset back to the middle position right after you throw the pitch. This should solve the problem.
FYI, I did this a only few times in this year's game, which is much better than how often I did it in last year's. I'm not sure if it's because they made it less sensitive in this year's game, or if I've just trained myself well. Hope this helps.Comment
