How to turn HR camera off

Hello guys, does anyone know how to turn the HR camera off? I like to see the ball travel to the stands. In mlb13 it was an on/off option under presentation. Or is it a part of the dynamic camera?

It's part of the new Dynamic camera. I guess by disabling the Dynamic camera the HR camera defaults off too. I haven't checked it though because I prefer the Dynamic one.

Dutch, the view in Dynamic camera stays close to the batter the whole time, so why when a HR is hit would you want it to change and then follow the ball?

The HR ball trajectory is in Broadcast camera.

The replay of the HR is using the Broadcast camera (or a camera close to that one). So by using the Dynamic you get the real time thrills of a potential HR from the batter's perspective and then a Broadcast replay for the little details. It's a win/win situation.

I'm using broadcast view and I still get the hr camera. I would like to turn this off as well but don't know how.

I'm also using broadcast camera and I get the home run camera. It's really disappointing given how much more exciting home runs are when you can watch them sail over the fence. The home run camera takes all doubt out of home runs.

I wonder if medium fielding camera would take it away--haven't tried it yet.

Do you think we should open a bug report about this?

It doesn't seem right that we should still get the old HR camera when we are in Broadcast mode. That appears to be what's happening.

I also posted a suggestion to get rid of the OUT OF PLAY banner that pops up when a foul ball is hit out of play. Kinda annoying to me.

Ramone has already stated he is aware of this and it is a bug. The overlay is only supposed to show up on the screen for balls thrown into the stands.

I turned Dynamic camera off.. because I couldn't work out where the hell the ball was and get my running in the bases right, it looks ok but I just couldn't get used to it. I had it turned back to broadcast but when I hit a home run it still stays at the bastmen for a no doubter, but then when I hit my 2nd homer it didnt go to the camera.. so must be only for no doubters

Ugh. The HR celebration camera was the only thing I found annoying in the game, and now it can't be turned off.

I can officially confirm that even with the Offensive and Defensive settings set to Broadcast, the HR camera is still there.

I figured that even though I was kind of digging the Dynamic setting for defense, I would go back to the Broadcast settings to get rid of the HR Camera.

No go.

I have yet to see an MLB broadcast with a camera affixed to the umpire's mask, that shows the catcher lift up his mask and watch a homerun while the batter stands there at the plate. Even more so, I have yet to see the camera man in charge of that angle, know immediately it is a homerun, and switch to that angle prior to anyone in the field seeing the ball's trajectory, and realizing it is a homerun.

For a game touting total immersion, and as close to baseball as it gets... Please reinstate the ability to shut that feature off.

The other troubling thing is that I have yet to see the BEAUTIFUL camera pull-back angle of last year's no doubters, which someone ought to give a production award to that designer and artist.

Last year's Big Bombs treated the viewer to a gorgeous pulled- back, mezzanine money shot, which showed the majestic flight of the white albatross, and the background of the rendered stadium, and was quite the reward for banging one out.

I sure hope that angle and presentation was not scrapped for the posturing bat-flip and lame, prolonged stare at the plate.
