    Smallest Stadium

What is the stadium with the smallest field in the game? Includes MLB, spring training, minor league and classic stadiums.

If stompground field is in the game, I believe it is the smallest dimension wise (minor league).

In terms of fair ground area, I'd have to give it to Fenway Park. But it has the Green Monster, and straightaway right field is just so unfair for anybody who wants to hit it out there. Plus it has a 420 foot triangle in center field.

In terms of overall park spread, Great American Ballpark probably wins with Citizens Bank Park being an extremely close second, but if you omit the lines then Wrigley Field is your best poke. If you consider both lines and carry, Minute Maid Park has some extremely cheap home runs (minus the hill that's 435 feet away).

I am only referring to MLB stadiums, by the way.

Actually GABP isnt really all that small, its actually average as far as dimensions goes. Being by the river the balls tend to fly out, especially on warm summer evenings. RF isnt all that far aways from home plate, but I think Yankee Stadium RF is actually closer.

I totally ignored Yankee Stadium in this comparison. You're right, that one is closer. It's left field is farther though.

GABP is extremely small, though. Compare it to some of the bigger yards out there. Heck, even look at Kauffman Stadium in comparison:

According to this article, Fenway has the smallest fair territory acreage of any MLB stadium:

                  Re: Smallest Stadium

Fenway is shallow at the corners but is very deep from center to right-center. "Smallest stadium" is a tricky question to answer because there are different types of small stadiums. Some stadiums like Fenway, Yankee Stadium, and Minute Maid Park are super shallow in the corners but deep/normal in other places, while other stadiums like GABP and Citizens Bank Park are not quite as shallow at the corners but instead have overall shallow dimensions to all parts of the park.

I don't know how Rangers Ballpark and Chase Field are because I haven't played at them much in the game, but in real life, these stadiums, despite their somewhat normal dimensions, are highly conducive to home runs because of the atmospheric conditions in those cities.
