Community 30 team control guide
I thought maybe we could all come together and discuss how we setup our 30 team control franchise. How we run it; what exactly we DO and DO NOT do for the cpu teams, etc etc.

Re: Community 30 team control guide
I never used 30 team control before but IF - and it still could change before May 6 - IF manage mode is only available offline and the problem with young A potential stars signing unrealistic long term contracts exists in the ps4 version then I will use 30 team control for the first time.
That is the only reason, what the cpu teams do to each other in trades is their problem but teams budgets would be rendered useless if young player contracts aren't correct.≡ -
Re: Community 30 team control guide
I don't mind them trading IF they were out of playoff contention vice versa. I see teams "selling" when they are 5gb in their division. Stuff like that annoys me. And Red Sox trading Ortiz and Jeter being traded...like whaaaat?? I like to have my own little franchise world but some things are ridiculous that the cpu does.

And when drafting, I like to draft for each team cuz I can see whwhat they are in need of and draft the best players for them. Last year teams were drafting Catchers like crazy! Once I drafted for them I realized there were a ton of them in the draft pool and that's why.Comment

Re: Community 30 team control guide
The only thing I do in 30 team control is play commisioner on trades. That's it. I check the pending transactions each day and judge trades between teams and play god to make sure wonky trades do not go through.
That's it.Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Community 30 team control guide
PS4 will be my first time playing The Show, so this is a noob question. I've read that you need 2 profiles to setup 30-team control, does that mean that two controllers are necessary, or will one controller be able to control both profiles? Thanks.Comment

Re: Community 30 team control guide
My CPU Franchise profile has everything set to auto.
What I do is just go into the pending transactions screen each day and look under pending trade offers and either decline or accept the trade on the teams behalf.
You have a few days from the first day a trade offer is sent.....so if you check the pending trade offer screen each day......you won't see the CPU controlled teams accept or decline trades without you doing it for them. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Community 30 team control guide
No. You will just create another user profile. When you select all teams in franchise you can then assign your profile to the teams you want to have full control over and set the CPU Franchise profile to the teams you do not want to control (as far as contracts, drafting, lineups,). It's fast a super easy to do.
You can have as much or as little control as you want. It is a highly user friendly way to run a 30 team franchise.
Some guys control everything.
Some guys like me....just watch the trades and let the CPU do the rest for the other 29 teams.
I like to focus on running my one team.
Now......for season mode when I play a clasic roster season replay. I control the 40 man rosters, waivers, and lineups for every single team as most of the time these are only 25 man rosters and I don't want to see modern day free agents signed in a classic season replay. So my season mode profile differs from the CPU Cranchise mode profile.
When you get the game....it will become crystal clear. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Community 30 team control guide
this is an amazing post. i have always wanted to do my franchise like this, with veto power. i do have a couple questions though so i dont screw it up when i try it. can you primarily control say 6 teams? and also if i were to just randomly play as one of the teams i dont control will it screw anything in the settings up?Comment
