Improving scouting accuracy

Is there a trick to improving the accuracy bar when scouting players? I can't get mine to change for players I'm interested in and its leading to drafting some players that aren't as good as they appear. How do you assign scouts to individual players?

Look at the scouts efficiency rating combined with the Position Player rating or the Pitcher rating

To assign scouts to specific players:
-Hit L3 to switch down to bottom half of menu
-Highlight the player you want to scout
-Hit L3 to go back to scout menu
-Hit X to select that scout to scout that player


You can also hire/fire scouts at any time. So switching scouts all the time to make sure you have the most effective scout at any time may be beneficial. (Ex: Hire all the best position player scouts when you are scouting position players then firing them all and hiring the best pitcher scouts when you scout them.)
