Issues with sound during RTTS

Playing RTTS, the sound on my keeps cutting out, and even crackling some during the sim portion while I am waiting for my next at bat.

Anybody else having this?

I dont play anything but franchise so wouldnt know about RTTS, but I do know it does seem the sound issue for the announcers is a little on the low side compared to the past where its hard to hear them. Considering Lyons and Karros are annoying fools, its not all that bad I guess

I think its the frame rate problem I hear people talking about. I noticed that on my franchise games I get periods of no announcing but it corresponds with the big screen in the outfield showing several batters back. It's like the sound gets stuck a few batters back.

I am going to try my franchise tonight with fast play to see if that helps.

Did you buy a disc version or go digital? I wnet with digital this year. There is that occassional freeze for several seconds but it always unlocks itself and its very rare at that. Other than that I have had any issue with framerate. Sorry to hear it causing you issues. Not sure how fast play would make a difference, but I suppose its worth a try if you dont mind that fast play, personally I have never used that as I like the cutscenes and stuff. I do use QC's and love that. Good luck.

Something else it seems over th eyears I have noticed when guys have issues like you have is its actually the console. I sometime think if you have a lot of games on your console it can effect stuff like this. I only play baseball, basketball, football, and I have farming simulator, and thats it so I dont have a lot I play.

Could maybe be your disc is faulty if using a disc, so might exchange it if you can.

I wonder if it is the console. I get the frame rate issues but that always unlocks itself. But I also get the occasional time that it locks down the PS3.

I can always tell its the console because the PS button won't access the menu.

Console is only 2.5 years old too.
