Guess pitch option?

On the PS3 version of MLB THE SHOW 16, I cannot get the "Guess Pitch" option to work for either location or type of pitch, regardless of which hitting interface I use.... is there a way to toggle it on & off that I am not aware of?

You need to get to the Gameplay Options, and then, within each tab for Pitching, Hitting Baserunning etc... you pull the R2 trigger to get to the "advanced" section in the sub-menu.

You can then choose the Off, On, No Feedback, and Default for Guess Pitch options.

Thanks for your reply- I already knew where to go to set the Guess Pitch options..... what I am saying is it does not seem to work during gameplay. If it is a glitch, hopefully it will be fixed on the next patch.

Ahh.. Gotcha.

Mine is working just fine, although I just tested it for the six games I played, as I do not use it during seasons.

Maybe you just didn't guess correctly yet?

OK I figured it out- when the SWING/PITCH INFO (under General Options- Advanced menu) is switched OFF, the Guess Pitch will not work, regardless of its setting..... but with S/P on, the Guess Pitch is operable!
