Challenge Failed?

Every time I invite a friend to an exhibition game it ends up with a "Challenge Failed". Am I doing something wrong or is online screwed up right now?

It's been doing that since the patch. I haven't been able to play against a friend all day today.

So I've had some success doing this...

Instead of accepting the PSN invite with the PS (circle) button on your controller, simply wait a second and accept the invite from your notifications in the PS Home screen.

Anyone have an update on the challenge failed while attempting playing a friend?

We have bad luck about 1 of 50 attempts every other time is “challenge failed.” Frustrating as it the reason we purchase the game. Please help!?

So I've had some success doing this...

Not following you. Are you saying to already be on the psn notification screen before your friend sends invite? Otherwise how do you get to there to accept the challenge without using the psn button?
