    Manual Injuries List For Franchise

does anyone have a list of all injuires in real life and how many days to apply them for in franchise mode upon beginning? I want to have opening day lineups realistic with injuries and what not, I feel like normally there is a thread on OS with this info for each team? Just curious, let me know thanks guys

This is what I use. You may need to get creative, because we cannot make a broken rib be out for a month, for example.

This is what I use every year though.

      Very easily done.
Bruise a player's ribs for five days
Put him on the sixty day injured list.
      After one month, uninjure him.
He is automatically removed from the sixty day list and is good to go.
      Easy peasy.

        I used CBS sports.

Stay updated with the latest MLB injuries and player statuses on CBS Sports.

Would something like this help? I made this spreadsheet for all manual injuries. Also all MiLB IL guys are on 10 day/15 day IL

If you put a player on 60 day IL, they are removed from 40 man roster though.... So not entirely accurate if looking to match up injuries with real life injuries and if player is on 10, 15, 60 day IL.

I always just pick a different injury that I can set for that length of time. The nature of the injury doesn't affect the game so I'd rather focus on the length that they will be out.

Yep this is the best way to go.

They're still on the 40 man roster, they just move to the inactive list 40 man, so you could add another player to the active 40 man. I wouldn't necessarily do that tho. You still have 39 men active 40 man and That's waay more than plenty. Once you remove the injury after one month, that player automatically comes off the inactive 40 man list and back to the active 40 man and you can call him back to the majors. But you definitely can't 100% matchup Show injuries to IRL injuries. I dont even think the Show has broken ribs, just bruised ribs.
