Is there any way to get correct numbers for players with retired numbers in season or franchise mode?

Some appear to work and others will not no matter what you do. They will show up in exhibition mode but if you run a season or franchise, no go for most of them...not all...but most.

I know Sony is bound by MLB rules in not using these numbers in the game...I don't know why, but they are...which is why they disable them in season/franchise.

Re: 1984 Season completed!!!

Up until the show 13, if you had the player whose number was retired you could use it in all modes. Not sure why this was removed last year? Frustrating as we have all these amazing rosters but cannot get correct numbers! Why not be able to manually over ride retired numbers if you choose as in EA's NHL series?

Great Roster!!

I am currently working on a roster myself, but are keeping it under wraps until I'm done the AL East.

My roster is more current ( *cough* 2007 *cough*), but this is one of the best I've seen and will try to make mine as good as this!!! It will need a lot more work although as I'm only done 2 1/2 teams out of 5 and thats just 25 man.

Anyways, good work and i love playing with this roster!!
