Having tons of fun with this set - thanks again Baumy. The equipment and stances/deliveries really set each player apart and the defensive ratings play out really well. Lenny Dykstra is a pain.. On the bases too!

Jimmy Key is currently dealing in the Mile High city. Stay tuned...

Thanks man. I'm glad you noticed that since it was my goal to give each individual their due, even through accessories. Good to hear you're enjoying them as much as I am!

These rosters are freaking fantastic. They look, and play really tight.
Awesome. Still using your sliders btw.

Right on. I had a no-no once with Hentgen, but I walked 5 guys...

I have to tell you all that I am 3 teams deep into 1997 now and I have somewhat toyed with the pitch clutch ratings. It's nothing drastic, but it has made a slight difference in gameplay and not for the worse.

Also, for some strange reason, pitchers in 1997 all seem to have had really bad ERA's (or at least the ones I looked at so far have) so once again, I a going to reflect that.

Good to hear you guys are enjoying them.

Oh, and change Darin Erstad from a right handed thrower to a left. Don't know how I missed that one, but figured it should be addressed

Re: Official 1996 Season Details/Discussion

Apparently all it takes for me to mash in this game is to use a roster from the steroid era lol. I feel almost guilty using the Mariners. But the team hr totals that year were pretty insane. That combined with most teams seemingly having weak SP and its definitely made for hitters. Im having a blast though. Ill see how the Mariners season goes. If the power numbers are crazy ill probably try a team with less power. They did hit 240+ in 96. 264 in 97. Id argue none of their guys were juicing. Maybe Buhner.

Really well done. I will grab this tonight.

Would love to see them release a DLC of the 1987 season

Im with you on the 98 season. This was the first year I followed baseball fully. Also, the inaugural seasons for "devil rays" and Diamondbacks. Can't wait.

I really don't think I can give you an honest answer, since there are just some days I don't get the time I need to start rolling, but for what it's worth, I am either just as anxious, or probably even more to finish the 98 season than anyone here.

I've debated just switching a few things here and there to speed it along, but that's not how I want these next sets to be. I'll finish some more teams for the AL up today, and if things go smoothly this week you can probably expect a full 97 AL preview by the end of next weekend.

Played a half game this weekend. Indians @ Orioles. Dennis Martinez is sick. Played really well. Brought back a lot of memories. It felt very empowering turing a double play with Visquel/Baerga... Harold Baines was funny.
