I thought this was dynamic and changed day to day.
Looking at the braves v marlins game tomorrow, Kimbrel is still with Atl??

I think the actual Live Roster updates every Monday. However, in The Show Live mode rosters are represented (mostly) accurately. But not until the game lineup is actually set.

I believe you also need to load latest official live roster before you start a show live game.

I must be missing something here....
If I load up the braves v marlins game for today, the lineups have been updated, so kimbrel and upton have been removed from the roster.
If I then save this 'live' roster and load it up, when I check Atl roster these 2 are back on it???

I don't believe you have to actually load a roster for The Show Live. As long as the actual lineup is posted the roster should be up to date except for rookies not in the game.

This is the case as far as I have found. Lineups don't change until game time essentially. Basically when the managers hand the line up cards to the umpires.

You can't. Every Monday a new downloadable roster will come out.

The Show Live doesn't update the rosters per se. It just takes the players off of the existing current Roster and puts them in the lineup or bench. So no rookies will show until after they are added in a Monday update. Also, players may be on the current Roster on a different team, but if they are in the lineup for a team's acutual game The Show Live will put them there. Like Dustin McGowan is on the Dodgers on the current roster, but The Show Live puts him in the Phillies bullpen (still has his Dodgers number).

Correct. A ton of rookies should be added next Monday.

Yeah I was pretty disappointed when I saw that Maicer Izturis was the starting 2nd Baseman for the Jays in the opening day live matchup. No love for Devon Travis! lol
