Roster cut off

Has anyone seen/read/heard/know of when the roster cut off date for the on disc(stock) roster is?

I'm drawing a blank as to weather they do an update upon release.

The cutoff was probably when the game went gold...so earlier this week. They'll also release an update when the game is officially released.

I thought previous roster cutoff dates were closer to around January 24-28.

Game is done so anything that happens now will have to wait until the first roster update.

For example, the Mets released Ruben Tejada a few days ago. He will still be on the Mets in the game.

Yea I googled it came up with a thread on here from 2014 and it said the cutoff was January 31st for the PS3. As the thread was asking about if there was a question about whether it would be later on PS4 or not because the game came out later on the PS4 that year.

Ramone said a few streams back that they have a "FREEZE" which means nothing else can be done to the game. So I would say around 3/01/16 was default rosters set and there will be a roster update on 3/29/16 when you put your game in there always has been before. Don't expect major moves to be done but some will be done.

When I asked Ramone on twitter why we didn't see Lorne this year in a stream he said Lorne was to busy working on rosters. Lorne and Luis did an excellent job with rosters last year and I expect no different is year. I will be doing my height & weight corrections again based off the very first update and usually takes one or two updates to get them all in.

They usually cut off rosters in February if memory serves me right, but they release a Day 1 Patch with up to date rosters

yep and Adam Laroche will still be on the white sox
