Sometimes, if I am feeling dangerous or in a mood, I will go all the way to 93 mph and then click back to the left once: 93 - 1 x 0.2 = 92.80 mph.

If you come across something right in the middle (92.90 mph is exactly in the middle of 92.80 and 93.00 mph) it's your choice and it might come down to whether you like that pitcher or not. I don't really apply hard core rounding rules (even/odd rule, lol) as it's just a game.

By the way, the "change up glitch" is still there. So for CAPs, you will see your movements on one pitch's velocity slider affect all the other ones. This means you have to do some tweaking to get them all to stick where you want them. Impossible to explain this any further so you'd just need to play around with it to see what I mean.
Thanks for the explination

I enjoyed the subtle humor in this.

In my brief time doing some pitch edits this year not all pitch types have had 0.2 mph intervals for velocity. For SCEA players some offspeed pitch types take like 8 clicks, rather than 5, to get from (for example) 85 mph to 86 mph. Anyone else experiencing this?

That could be although it's sort of odd for them to change it. I haven't entered in any edits since MLB '15 so you probably know better about '16. If so, then people just need to figure out how many clicks in 1 mph and adjust accordingly. If it's 8 clicks, then the math gets a little messier, but it's still doable.

EDIT: Looking at the click ratio for some pitch types...

Zach Britton
SNK - 6 or 7 clicks per 1 mph (bounced back and forth...odd)
SL - 5 or 6 clicks per 1 mph (again, not consistently 1 or the other)
4SM - 5 or 6 clicks per 1 mph (not consistent, but mostly 5 clicks)

Yovani Gallardo
2SM - 4 or 5 clicks per 1 mph (mostly 5, but some 4 click intervals embedded)
12-6 CV - 6 or 7 clicks per 1 mph (mostly 6 clicks, some 7 mixed in)

Chris Tillman
KCV - 7 or 8 clicks per 1 mph
CH - 5 or 6 clicks per 1 mph
CUT - 5 or 6 clicks per 1 mph

Brian Matusz
CB - 6 or 7 clicks per 1 mph

Kevin Gausman
SPL - 7 or 8 clicks per 1 mph

R.A. Dickey
KNUK - consistently 5 clicks per 1 mph

Ian Kennedy
Vulcan CH - 5 or 6 clicks per 1 mph

Ugh, thats even worse than I had noticed. Inputting pitch edits is laborious enough, when I do mine I will probably settle for "close enough" for once so that I don't go crazy lol.

The upside is, even if you do mistake 5 clicks for 8 or whatever, at most you're off by ~0.1-0.3 mph. This is pretty negligible in the games.

It's been that way the last 2 or 3 series maybe longer from what I can remember. I always remember some pitches has more clicks. Pain in the butt especially when it's not SCEA players, those are worse!

I didn't really notice it last year. Maybe I had done so much data entry that I had already turned into a robot by then.

Not a big deal for SCEA guys (again, being off by a few tenths of 1 mph at most on some pitches is not noticeable in games), but the fully editable ones have always been a challenge. There's never been any rhyme or reason for those players. Just trial and error until the velocity bars stop moving.
