I don't think there's a place for a competitive spirit in this... this isn't a competition for downloads or percentage points. We're fans working for fans. And I have to say, this community has one of the best modding communities I've seen ever and I've been modding games since 1999.

@bretsky523 No it isn't out. This is being ported from MLB 15 right now.

Yes, yes, yes, yes.... I'll check about Murphy, and yes.

Since we don't have draft classes, and we can't import into Franchise so we can't just overwrite new draftees with real players, I've taken the liberty to add players in the game that would be drafted or signed in future years (to a degree, there are limits to how far I will go in time... the youngest player in the game is Adrian Beltre, and he was signed legit in 1994 anyway.). They are put on the team that would eventually sign them out of the draft. Amateur free agents are put in Free Agency.

So in Free Agents, you find Nomo, who comes in pretty good and should decline rather quickly as happened in real life. You find Ichiro. You find Ohka, Hasegawa, Yoshii, Irabu... Because I have 20 more free agents spots in MLB 16, I will put in more Japanese: I didn't have Matsui. I didn't have Shinjo. You have a boatload (pun intended) of Cubans. You have somebody like Brendan Donnelly who played independent baseball. You have foreigners playing in Japan and Mexico. And of course, old guys who may or may not be useful any longer, like Gary Carter and George Brett and Carlton Fisk and the likes. Nolan Ryan. He's good for a year.

I put lots of thoughts into the free agents list, lol.

I have a couple of questions.
Will you be adding any licensed equipments to the players? and in MLB 15, I noticed that some of the AL and NL teams have stirrup high socks and low socks (tight pants) Will you keep it that way or all of the teams will wear low socks?

Depends what the player used. If they used the licensed equipment then yeah I'll use it.

But I don't know if they have anything that was used in 1994 in there.

You need help porting this over to mlb '16 Phil? I'd love to help get at least a semi-working version of this up as soon as possible. I'd love to do a RTTS with this roster as it was the year I graduated High School.

Two people working on one port is a lot of trouble because you just end up doing more work.

BUT, if you want to help the mod along, I can give you a list of names of some players I want to add and you can start them. That would save me a lot of time to finish the mod!

I'd want the basic details (minus contracts) and appearances done. I'll handle their attributes and the contracts.

Work done for today....

- Ported free agents + fixed birthplaces
- Ported closers + fixed birthplaces
- Ported catchers of 11 teams + fixed birthplaces

True, Didn't realize you had already started the import process. That would be just double work. I can do some new players for you. My face creation is pretty lousy I think though.
