I would join in a competition....I thrive on it!
But I'm busy creating my 1,000,000th player!

I don't think it makes much sense to take Knight's word for OSFM or mine for Hybrid. We are both far too biased and set in our ways with respect to each one.

I am certain that nobody has simmed with our Hybrid roster as much as I have. As for overall, total time simming, I couldn't say.

Ultimately the OP will need to decide what his priorities are and go with one of them rather than basing it too much on some testimonials.

I wasn't trying to start a Knight & WTNY simming war. Just telling what I had already seen posted.

Listen....I'm not knocking they Hybrid set.
Great set.
But nobody and I mean NOBODY has simmed/tested and simmed more than I have.
I'm VERY confident in that statement.

For me it's beyond just what stats get spit out.
(and both are more than adequate at that)
The SCEA stock players mesh much better with incoming draft classes than re-rated rosters do IMO and is one of the main reasons I don't mess with them much. Especially entire re-rates.
I also think that progression/regression is tuned for SCEA rated players and over the long haul it shows.

This is absolutely not a knock on the Hybrid as the pitch arsenal's could use a look over from SCEA and some of the speeds and defensive ratings.
But even those...if you consider them out of line with a prevailing thought of what they "should" be ......have to work in line with SCEA's game engines.

After going to S.D. and speaking with Brian about this....and him showing me the correlations between the two....I saw the light of his thinking and went "stock" from there out.

But in the end....it's really a personal preference IMO.

Do you use them as they are or use a 40 man roster, if yes, what exactly? Thanks for explaining.

I set it up with 30 team control....and once I get through spring training I assign all teams but the Mets with everything to AUTO and let it ride from there.
I rarely step in to make change.

Right before ST ends...I send down 15 players for each team to the minors and that's it really.

Hey Knight does that mean that V3 no longer does pitch edits?

For me the biggest reason that I use the hybrid is the horrible rated SECA players in the minor leagues. Some of the teams top prospects are rated in the low 50s by SECA but come in closer to 70 on the hybrid roster

M.K.
Knight165...

Have always appreciated your contributions to these forums & been curious... which settings, slider set / adjustments (if any) do you use?

Thanks in advance
