and have you downloaded the 25-Man, 2005 file ?
I am wondering how accurate the pitch edits are for the guys in that roster.

basically, there is a decade gap b/t each roster with correct sim stats for us to enjoy.
that way, we can see each player in their prime.
That sounds pretty rad man. If I had more time I'd maybe be more into it. It sounds like you're into stats like I'm into rosters. I like it. I'll let you know if I change my mind later.

No I haven't checked it out yet. Mainly been using my sets for editing or in game previews when I'm on.

cool and I am glad to help.
if you get time to check out a few pitchers on the 05 set, please do and let me know what you think.
I am wondering if I need to get the Neyers book for pitches.

Yeah man, if you want the pitchers to throw the correct pitches at accurate speeds, then it's pretty essential.

I'm going to keep focused on 98 for now, but good luck with your project dude.

Just for the hell of it, we should sim a season of 97 when it's done and see the difference in sim stats. It could be pretty cool.

how many pitchers are in the book and what is the time span of pitchers tracked - Is it from like 1950 - 2010 ?

you can download the edits I made to the: OSFM 17 - 2005 (25-Man) - 1987 (90-Man) and sim a season with Injuries OFF.

now, record: Overall League ERA's - K/9 - BB/9 - HR/9 - and SB/CS and compare with the roster w/o edits.

I sadly do not think these roster creators even care about real sim stats - LOL.

Must be a pride thing, I guess.
