I'm a bit lost as to what has (or hasn't?) been done with the contracts?

Have they been edited to reflect their real-life counterparts, or not?

When I start my franchise (and RTTS) in the next couple of days, I want the contracts to be as accurate as possible (not necessarily perfect by any means).

"Pitch edits" don't really exist for most prospects. Guys need to have played in MLB games, the Arizona Fall League, the World Baseball Classic, or Spring Training to have been tracked by PITCHf/x. Even if they have, in most cases these players will have thrown zero or very few pitches to base pitch edits on. For example, Justin Maese is not in the PITCHf/x directory. So roster makers sort of wing it based on any info they can find, but I wouldn't call that "pitch edits."

When you see people talk about "pitch edits," they are referring to MLB pitchers. FYI
