1897 90-man roster offseason help

I am planning to start a franchise with the 1987 90-man roster. If some of you haven't checked it out it is definitely worth your while. It is all set up with all real players with real contracts. The one part where I run into trouble is there is no service time for anyone. Not a big problem but when it gets to the offseason the cpu can just renew the players that should become free agents. Im just looking for a workaround so that I can manually go through and release the players that should be FA in 1987 as well as the next few years. Thanks again to the roster creators and the people that have taken the time to port over the roster.

I was so glad batter tendency was made editable this year, now if only next year service time can be made editable, it will take the historic rosters one huge leap forward.

I am with you there brother. It seems like such a simple thing to do but who knows how hard it is. I also play with a 2007 90-man that does have service time. I can only imagine how long that must have taken.

The Boston Beaneaters were champions in 1897.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Are these both on MLB 17? If so, who are the creators? Thanks!

JMeyers and I did the rosters all the way back in 2011. We have been porting them by hand or by import/export ever since.
