MLB THE SHOW 18: Fully Editable MLB Players

This is the complete list based off the DEFAULT roster

All these players should be on the game as a "Real Player" meaning they should have a locked face either a scan face or a face created by the SDS art team.

There is even missing veteran players who played in 2017 I think the amount is close to 50 missing players.

I can get over the players not having there PLAYER CARD, but these players having the created version face makes no sense when others got a real face done!

Re: MLB THE SHOW 18: Fully Editable MLB Players

    For Cincinnati you can add:
    SP Amir Garrett
    SP Ariel Hernandez
    SP Sal Romano
    C Stuart Turner
    SP Tyler Mahle
    SP Keury Mella
    SP Jackson Stephens
    SP Rookie Davis
    RP Barrett Asin

Essentially, the people on this list are people who made their debuts last year (TO CLARIFY: I'm not saying EVERYONE who made their debut last year is like this). It's as if SDS just copied their CAPs the added in roster updates over from this year. If you play NBA 2k, a similar thing is happening there - which is worse because The Show's CAP is far more robust than 2k.

Maybe they know that the OSFM and other roster creators can do better faces, so they didn't try? Maybe they're somehow tied to something online that doesn't get turned on until Tuesday?

Either way it was very disappointing to find this lazily made its way into the game. I'd take a faces like Todd Frazier or last year's Trout over this.

What’s really annoyed me more is the amount of missing players, that played last year, a lot of Baltimore players like petro, gentry Presley ect

It’s like they try and predict if they will be on a roster
Yet they put someone special treatment like ohrani to make it to the game who hasn’t faced or thrown a single pitch yet

I do like though that they didn't lock them as they have in years past. Yes, some of them suck, but I was able to edit them to look a far lot better. Franchy Cordero looks bad, but I made him look pretty good. I'd be more upset if they gave them this generic look AND locked them so I have to stare at it all season long.

I agree and its not a bad thing, but the list is huge and have a lot more to add. What makes no sense is other rookies who debut when some of these did got there face done either by face scan or the art team doesn't matter to me they got the "Real Player" status while all of these got ignored.

Seems like when it came down to crunch time they rushed it and gave us these faces. Some don't even have any service time at all either. SMH

It has nothing to do with the off-season the way it was this past season. I was told last year it has to do with room. They only have so much space is why some get left off, but these who are on the game getting a created style face could have been done better.

You hit it on the head in another thread they take away from us by adding more and more legends in that area, either they need to move legends somewhere else or add more free agent tabs so we can have the players who actually belong on the game.

So with these editable players, does Matty V have that sort pause when annoucing them as they come up to bat or come in to pitch? Like when you would select names from audio lists.

It's because they are wasting all that room On Legends. I don't think though it's not about room. because 60% of the players on rosters are fake, which easily could still have theses players, but perhaps it's so they can make them created players in a few weeks time, they really should have done it already though.

no as far as I am aware they actually have their proper audio. because they are linked to the database in the game. it's just that they are a created player.

I have 2 teams left to do for a full complete list and then I will test some names during a game like I have done in the past. Usually there good about the name audio being linked to player ID, But on 17 that wasn't really the case.

If u remember when I do a list back on 16 the audio was linked to the created player if he was done by SCEA now called SDS.

Yeah with all the veterans who played last year missing having to recreate those and then do faces on these that should have been scanned faces or the art team should have did a better job on them its more work for us.

One of my very close friends is a huge Brewers fan so of course I will be doing those faces on the Brewers and I will hook you up for sure. I don't think im the greatest at it I am not a motown or AROID but I dabble a little bit, but thanks for saying so.

Here is a requested RP Johnny Hellweg I did for Showtyme.
