Daily Rosters question — Play Now mode

First time playing The Show since PS2 days. In Play Now mode, why do the Daily Rosters not update the team records or player statistics? The pitchers always have 0-0 records, the hitters are always hitting .000, the announcers always announce “first of the season” in game, and they’re also pretty inaccurate (e.g., I play with Cincinnati and they had Jesse Winker at 2B). Am I missing something, or does this traditionally not update until later in the season? Thanks.

It's worked in the past, not sure about a delay at the start of the season. Someone mentioned it being buggy early until SCEA rosters are updated, but I don't remember records/stats/etc not updating. I hope they get it sorted soon.

It’s still buggy as of yesterday for me at least. Lineups are messed up as well. I would have position player as a catcher on the starting lineup. I don’t think any of the players had their proper positions.

That mode has always been buggy. Even when stats updated in the past alot of times they would not be 100% correct. It would be a great mode if it worked properly, but I don't think it gets very much attention.

been a terrible experience in this mode so far.

Players are randomly being inserted into two spots in the lineup - for example gardner batted twice, in the leadoff spot and in the 6 spot. in the field it showed andujar, who i guess was supposed to be there, but you couldnt do anything to change it.

I’ve been having that same issue recently. Except for the pitcher, all the players are playing outside of their respective position (eg Rizzo playing as catcher), and there is no way to correct that after the game has started.

Also, there are days that Justin Turner is not on the Dodger roster, where there have been games that he’s started.

so many bugs in this mode and can barely find info on it anywhere. We might be the only 5 guys who play this mode lol

I play this mode too and have always loved it in The Show. I'm disappointed that daily rosters' stats and lineups are bugged and hope they fix it really soon.
