It's really early, but at least he's old enough to have NCAA numbers.

From mlb pipeline: Scouting grades: Fastball: 65 | Slider: 65 | Changeup: 50 | Control: 55 | Overall: 60

There's your third pitch. Fastball will rate to 95 mph, and we'll probably give him a second fastball to round out the repertoire.

He'll probably be anchored to a low 50s ovr, consistent to someone starting in high A, maybe AA, but it's still really aggressive. 60 FV is roughly a low A potential, but we'll see how that evolves. Other than that, best we can do is look at NCAA stats for rough trends, and map that onto the anchor.

At this point, I'm less interested in the actual ratings, but rather the approach. Because we have a lot of players to rate without a lot of hard numbers. Most serious projectors don't touch people like him, until he's got a lot more pro time.
