    Scherzer HR/9 & Ohtani Ratings

Looking for some help regarding these 2 stars.
On the Player Edit screen, Maxs HR/9 is about 56...does this mean he is very unlikely to yield a HR or more likely?
    How does that scale work?
56= Low chance of conceding a HR as opposed to say "80"-which would be a higher chance?

Also, is there anyway to select Angels Ohtani as a D/H in the team management screen?
What would his batting attributes look like (he seems a bit too low in the offical Roster)
    As always.........Thanks so much!

I believe the HR and BB sliders are the other way around. The higher they are, the better your pitcher is in those two categories.

And no, you can't make Ohtani DH unless you're using a separate CAP of him, and in that case they wouldn't be the same player/number. It's something that it looks like SCEA won't address until next year's game, unfortunately.

This. For BB/9 it means the pitcher has better control overall (though it's also influenced by the pitch's individual ratings) Would like to add that unless something changed with the way HR/9 is used by the game for '18, it has no effect in played games. It only matters for Sims.

With that said....it's interesting this year because of how you gain attributes in RTTS. For anyone who's done a pitcher, can you say whether or not you've gotten gains/losses during games for HR/9 or is it one of those things you can only raise outside of a game?

        Ohtani Ratings & Scherzer HR/9

        Ahh thanks guys.

So, in theory, as I am currently in my Franchise (30 team), could I "create" a new D/H version of Ohtani and add him into the Angels roster?

Can I use a CAP from the vault and add him in (even though I have already started my Franchise? (or would I have to EDIT over a already existing player within the franchise roster?)
        As always....thanks!

There is no import into franchise. You'll have to edit an existing player already in you're franchise.

After you start a game, substitute Ohtani to DH or whatever position you want.
