    Potential scale explained

This is my theory of how potential is laid out in the show.

    Hitting:
    PTL - OVR - AVG
    80 90 .310
    70 80 .290
    60 70 .270
    50 60 .250
    40 50 .230
    30 40 .210
    20 30-0 .190-.150

    Power:
    PTL - OVR - HR
    80 90 45+
    70 80 35
    60 70 25
    50 60 20
    40 50 15
    30 40 10
    20 30-0 5

    Run:
    PTL - OVR
    80 90
    70 80
    60 70
    50 60
    40 50
    30 40
    20 30-0

    Arm:
    PTL - OVR
    80 90
    70 80
    60 70
    50 60
    40 50
    30 40
    20 30-0

    Field:
    PTL - OVR
    80 90
    70 80
    60 70
    50 60
    40 50
    30 40
    20 30-0

    Pitching coming soon

    Re: Potential scale explained

Great theory. I am also attempting to come up with a “scale” for attributes but trying to scale it when guys have a small sample size, is harder. I am try to do a weight based scale which is all depending on games played and AB’s etc.

50 should be closer to 80 potential. That's an average grade and your average starter should not be 85 overall. Just my opinion.
